The cat that
loaded wrong.
There was no planet, no lab and no owner. Just a broken green outline floating in a dead part of the chain.
When the first pump signal crossed the void, the outline blinked. PUMPKITTY followed it through every block until the static started to purr.

The signal led into a garden where gravity had stopped working. Green seeds orbited sleeping terminals. PUMPKITTY touched one, and the whole station grew a new constellation.
